Dixie Jet & Rotor Service, LLC

Dixie Jet & Rotor Service was founded by owner Wayne Bradbury in 1992, after working as Director of Maintenance for Bernie Little Distributors, (Owner of the Miss Budweiser Unlimited Hydroplanes) for the previous 12 years. Wayne got his first experience with helicopters in the U.S. Army, working for 3 years as a Chinook CH47 Mechanic. After getting out of the service in 1979, he pursued an aviation career working at various aircraft maintenance facilities in the Tampa Bay Area, then in 1981, he became the Director of Maintenance for Bernie Little Distributors, responsible for all maintenance of their complex fleet, including; Lear Jet, Gulfstream, Falcon, Lockheed Jet Star, Agusta 109  and Bell Helicopters. He continued to support Bernie Little Distributors until the passing of the aviation icon and founder Bernie Little Sr. and the retirement of the "Miss Budweiser" in April of 2003, at which time he developed Dixie Jet & Rotor Service into the premier helicopter and jet maintenance facility that it is today.

Our Business

Our current shop staff encompasses more than 50 years of aircraft maintenance experience performing everything from routine aircraft services, component overhauls, avionics repairs and alterations  to complete aircraft restorations. Dixie Jet & Rotor Service employs  factory trained technicians for many different aircraft models. Our employees are dedicated professionals with our customer's safety and best interest as priority one

Who We Are

Our staff of dedicated employees is always looking for ways to improve on how we can be more efficient in our daily maintenance practices. During daily staff meetings, we are constantly updating the current aircraft maintenance position, in order to stay on target with our customers desired delivery dates. By doing so, we have developed into a highly motivated and integrated team of aircraft maintenance professionals, who are constantly striving to produce the best possible product for our customers. Our goal is to continue to grow Dixie Jet, with safety and our customers' requirements as priority one.
